There are/was far too many squabbles over C= and it's assets over the years - time to put this to an end and get every license together, under one roof where they belong.

Cloanto and Hyperion really need to bury the hatchet (not in each other's back for a change) and move on for the betterment of the brand.

I thought this was about "Commodore" and not the Amiga brand or am I wrong ??

I very much Doubt Cloanto and Hyperion gave the go ahead for the "Commodore", headphones, calculator , mobile phone , etc isnt "Commodore" owned by CIC Europe Holding B.V. or used to and has nothing to do with the Amiga as they where split up ??

@Boing-ball

I don't know what amount of money an "Angel investor" would be asked to sink into this venture, but it will be interesting to find out ...

Part 3 is that he going show you what Commodore computer look like. Then it like zx spectrum next when everyone was coding for new games for it and sell it on website where people buy software(ZX Spectrum next used SD Card)

Will new Commodore computer used SD Card as seem be modem right now

Watching how this develops over the next few months. It might be something good...

I find it funny how all the detractors over on other forums seem to be kicking off and dissing Perifractic. At least he put his money where his mouth is and stepped up. What did they do?

🤞🏻 Hats off to the guy… He is making dreams a reality. Christian has done the smart thing by bringing in the Commodore illuminati to back it. Allowing others to apply for licences so that everyone who develops hardware and software can still be involved.
Explains the legalities of why people can’t at the moment be shareholders etc…
Hopefully this will put an end to at least a lot of squabbling that goes on in the community.
Just hope the likes of Steve Clifford and RPUK don’t get involved 🙄 Then it would make it tranquil…. 👍🏻😉

David Plesence
Albert Charpentier
Michael Tomczyk
James Harrison
Hans Olsen
Tim Morgan
Jeri Ellsworth
Jim Drew

Thomas Middleditch, amongst others on-board including ex=CBM employee's … That's some serious backup to help take the brand forward!

Since we appreciate the retro machines, when we buy them, we don't have to be subjected to these money-grab license dramas - right?

I just learned there are plans for a full-size A1200

Maybe things like this new full-size A1200 are caught up in this licensing mess, but to be honest, I'm not crazy about it, just like I wasn't crazy about the Mini A500. MISTer is simply a better piece of hardware. BUT...people bought the A500 Mini, so what do I know?

Also, I'm sure we all saw America drop bunker buster bombs on Iran, followed by the POTUS proclaiming that with these actions America Makes Iran Great Again...AMIGA...is that a trademark infringement? :-)

There is Commodore.net Pre order going but if you got FPGA or Mega 65 or Ultra 64 already and you ask yourself why should I buy when I already got it unless you like collecting hardware I guess.

Just updated right now is selling so quickly!
