CARD SOLD TO warr8or29

Selling a 'The Rejuvenator card', I bought it for my Amiga 1000 about a year ago and it has been lying in its box since about 1 week ago, when I decided to give it a go installing it in my A1000.

I will make this a short story - I did not succeed in fitting the pins from my A1000 in the Rejuvenator card - and after having struggled with it, I eventually came to the conclusion, that this is over my head, and I don't want to accidentally wreck my Amiga 1000, so I put my Amiga back together like it was, and I am therefore selling the Rejuvenator card.

I accidentally broke one of the pins on the Rejuvenator card, so that's why you see a small wire soldered to one of the pins on the middle socket and onto the board. (see the pictures).

I never got to see the card working in my Amiga since -as I wrote- it never got properly fitted, so I could see it working!, I imagine it works, but I am writing this, so you will know exactly as much as I know.

Included in the Sale:
The Rejuvenator card with 2MB Onboard Chip mem
Agnus adapter fittet
2MB Agnus 8375 chip, 390544-01 PAL

A new The Rejuvenator card with 2MB chip mem cost 330€ + 30€ for the Agnus adapter, and a 8375 Agnus cost about 80€, that's a total of 440€.

I am selling for 300€ + postage. Please write me your country, and I will send you the shipping price.

Sorry, I read the description carefully and I don’t want to run the risk.

Hello @dempsey ,

I remember that you get the Rejuvenator about a year ago.
It makes me very sad to see that you had such big problems installing the Rejuvenator.
No worry, the board can be easily repaired.
You could have sent me the defective Rejuvenator with your Amiga 1000 motherboard, and I would have repaired and installed it for you.
Unfortunately, you didn't. :(
I always offered to assemble the Rejuvenator for free.

If you are interested in a Rejuvenator again in the future, please contact me. We can make it happen. (y)

hi @jokersad - yes, I should have reached out, and many thanks for your offer :-) as you said, I got the card about a year ago, but only tried to install it about 1-2 weeks ago and unfortunately I did not succeed. I've had a big collection of retro computers (about 80 machines) but I began to slim down my collection since then, I lost my wife in November 2024 and my happiness for collecting and using retro computers has fallen somewhat since then. I am happy just owning an Amiga 1000 for now but I will most likely not be using it much, I also have some other Amigas - mainly A1200's which was also what I had back then, so whenever I need a boost of retro, I will most likely use one of my A1200's :-) many thanks for reaching out and your kind offer :-)

kind regards
Johnny
