Hello.

I have managed to get winuae to install workbench 3.1 on a cf card, and it seems to work well, in winuae.

Now I want to transfer it to my amiga 1200, is it just to transfer it across, or do I need to do anything first ?

When I set it up in winuae, i used winuae driver, uaehf.device , i think. Will this still work in the amiga ?

this is just for partioning the drive so it wont be needed unless you need to change partitions

did you use any of what i put in the other thread you did

like change the settings under advanced as you will get read errors

Hi there.

No, I didnt change anything, since I cant even remember seeing that screen.... But, I will haev to do it again, i jusdt remember I set it up using 3.1 roms, and my amiga has 3.0 roms, so I guess it will not work then ?

Hi.

Thanks for the answer, but my main question was :

When I installed workbench 3.1 on the CF, I told WINUAE I had 3.1 roms, but my amiga only have 3.0 roms. Will that be a problem ?

Vegard

3.1 will work on 3.0 roms but not all programs

you could always install
http://classicwb.abime.net/index.htm
if you have no extra memory use the lite version

you can follow my guide up untill 3.9 as that will not work on 3.0 roms

No, should still plug in and play.

3.1 is mostly just bug fixes to 3.0 so is compatible.
