Found Trapdoor RAM Expansion for A1200

Hi, as the title says just after a basic trapdoor expansion card for A1200 for use with whdload - not really interested in acceleration or the silly prices that come with it, 8mb on board or anything else that I can plug an 8mb simm in.

Hmmn, these things a bit scarce or is it just that people are going for accelerators boards with ram?

I have one even has a 4 gig simm on it, has a rtc as well, but it would cost a fortune to ship over to you sorry

Ox, you will find the price difference between a second hand, 20+ year old 8MB accelerator is not much less than a brand new warrantied accelerator.

8MB was pretty luxurious back then so they're not on sale as often as you'd think.

Ironically it's cheaper to buy 8MB for the A500 / A600 thanks to Kipper2K

One final FYI - you can't bump your thread so quickly ;-)

Apologies for the bump, just curious as to why I can't seem to find them when I scour the net - I wonder if Kipper2K has plans to also produce a cheap ram expansion for the A1200?

Hey, i'm in the same situation, looking for expansion. I am after spending hours looking online more thinking toward an ACA1220.

i'm curious on the price difference you got which made you choose simply Ram over the "new" acceleration card like a ACA1220 which is about 90 euros for 128meg of ram and acceleration, you got a better deal than that ?

I just needed something for whdload and also I heard there's compatibilty issues with accelerator cards like aca.
