Treating Rust on Metal Casing

Hi,

What would you do to treat some rust on metal casing for an Amiga 2000 keyboard? It is not that bad but would want to give it a quick treatment of some kind just to stop it or would it be okay just to use a bit of wire wool and leave alone?

Pop to your local car parts shop or Halfords and pick up some rust remedy. It will neutralise the rust and usually gives a protective layer too.

Costs around a fiver or less.

Rust remedy works well to stop the rust from progressing, but notice that it will turn the affected areas black as it convert the rust.

Yes it will. You could spray it if you wanted, or start a new 'project black' amiga
