After four years of development and rigorous testing, we are proud to announce that the best accelerator ever built for the Amiga A1200 is finally ready for release. The Trinity 1240-60 is a state-of-the-art, brand-new accelerator that supports 68040-68060 CPUs and is compatible with all A1200 revisions. We have taken great care to ensure that access to chip memory is optimized whether you have a 68040 or a 68060.

We have taken great care to ensure that access to chip memory is optimized whether you have a 68040 or a 68060, making it the best accelerator to enjoy all the demoscene content created for Amiga. We have conducted numerous tests comparing the Trinity with the famous Blizzard 1260 and found that the Trinity performed better in all tested demos.

Full Specs:

128MB SDRAM Fast memory
Optimized chip memory access at any CPU clock speed
68040/68060 compatible (via jumper)
Onboard I2S 16-bit stereo sound card compatible with AHI
Includes a 3.5mm jack Paula PassThrough
Software interface for changing speed (MHz)
Expansion connector for future upgrades
Compatible with any A1200 motherboard revision
Compatible with PCMCIA
Compatible with Kickstart 3.1 (recommended 3.1.4 / 3.2)
Black PCB color on this batch
Fits in your old or new old stock A1200 case!!!
A1100 friendly, of course.

I am opening this thread in case anyone has any doubts or queries.

That is pretty. Congratulations. I'm already an Unamiga fan.

1. It doesn't look like it is a long card. Could you please provide total card length?
2. Expansion connector? Along the lines of IDE or SCSI or exciting RTG?

1- 15cm length
2- We don't want to promise anything but the idea is to make an expansion with RTG and USB in the future.

Hi there,

A few minor questions please.

Is it compatible with Mediator board?
How likely is the RTG expansion?
What is the speed to chipram relative to TF1260?

We honestly don't know, we don't have access to any Mediator or other PCI solution.

RTG expansion is on the roadmap but we don't want to lie to anyone, it is not even designed, we have put the expansion connector to do it in the future but we don't know when.

the chip ram speed on the trinity has an advantage over other accelerators on the market, no matter what mhz speed you clock your cpu at, it will always give the most optimal access. for example some values at random speed of other accelerators on the market:

TF1260 at 84Mhz

WARP1260 at 95Mhz

TRINITY1260 at 95Mhz
trinity94-Mhz.jpg

And compared with Warp1260 please

The Warp is the best accelerator with real cpu in the market. We are between TF and Warp. anyway, our chip access is unbeatable to any clock speed.

Will it work in a CD32 using CD32 <> A1200 adapter?

hey! good question but we havent tested that yet.

TF1260 @83.33Mhz
Warp1260 @95Mhz
Trinity @95Mhz

I see you pre-loaded the TF1260 to run at 84Mhz ...

Bit of a difference in speed comparisons - 11.67mhz. Couldn't the 060 CPU in the Tf1260 go to 95Mhz?

I am too lazy to google it. Sorry.

But what is A1100?

@arnljot

The A1100 is a new version of the A1000 motherboard. The specifications are as follows:
  • CPU: Motorola 68020 with 14 Mhz
  • OCS-/ECS compatible, up to 2 MB Chip-Ram (Paula, Agnus, Denise not included)
  • 64 Megabyte RAM
  • IDE-Controller(44pin)
  • Support of two different Kickstart-ROMs.
  • Flickerfixer and ScanDoubler. Internal ports for RGB, Cinch, SVGA
  • Expansion ports for A1000 (86pin) and A1200 (150pin) cards
  • Connector ATX Power Supply
  • Fast A1200 clockport connector

Sounds great. Is it available somewhere?

One left — I just bought one a moment ago! Could you please add me to the email list for electronic updates? I really don’t want to miss any future news. It took me a while to find your site because I was specifically looking for an accelerator like this!
