hi all ,

i have here a aa3000+ with ramsey-07 and dmac-04 , turbo bgf9060 , i have on the scsi unti 0 a 136gb scsi drive , all works great , but now when i hook up a extren case with scsi , fist unit 1 cd-rom and unit 2 tape stream , so only this 2 unit's it run great , but now when i add a zip or mo-drive as unit 3 , then all myn scsi on the extren scsi bus is gone , i will check what the aa3000+ do with myn Dmac-02 if thats works then maybe the Dmac-04 is not good , but i don't you if there is a other user that have maybe a aa3000+ with Dmac-04 and ramsey-07 on board ho can test on the extren scsi bus if more then 3 unit's works

It sounds like a SCSI bus problem, might be the termination.
In general, the SCSI bus is managed by the WD SCSI controller, not the SDMAC.

You need to make sure, you use only 2 terminations, 1 on each end of the whole SCSI bus.
Each device and each internal or external Termination counts.

With a wrong termination you might be lucky with some devices but not with others or combinations.
