Hi Y’all,
I have inherited two Commodore 1571’s.
I borrowed a friend’s C64 to format a disk on each machine. Save a short basic program. I ensured that each drive can format, read, write to its own and the other drives diskette. I was limited to Basic 2.0. I could not figure out how to copy from Kung Fu Flash to the drives?????
I would like to trade these for comparable spec’d Atari 8bit drives (DS / DD).
I live in Birmingham, AL, USA.
I will get some pics posted soon.
Thanks,
Bama
Edit: Pics- I found the “1” drive got bumped on the side and the unlabeled drive has a small chip in the plastic near its face plate. I have included pictures of each battle wound.
Let me know if there are additional pictures or procedures that will further your interest.
Thanks,
Bama
