Due to financial problems, I'm selling two very early Seagate IDE hard disk drives. The first one is ST3290A (260mb) and the second ST3630A (630mb). Both were pulled from a working computer and appear to be working fine (minimal testing), but come with no guaranty.

More info for the devices here:
http://redhill.net.au/d/28.php
http://marina.mfarris.com/hard_drives/seagate/seagate_st3630a.html

Price for both: 25€ 30€ (this includes shipping to all European Union destinations). I accept paypal (family and friends only) or bank transfer and will ship registered delivery with tracking number.

I will combine shipping with the other stuff I sell for more savings.

Advertised elsewhere.

Thank you!

Price increase to 30€ due to increases in shipping costs.

As I mention in the original message, only minimal testing has been done. I booted the operating system they had left inside and run some apps off of them. No other test has been done.

You might find you get a sale quicker if you can vouch for the integrity of the disks, esp given their age :)

Especially given their age, diagnostics on these drives are pointless. They will work until they fail. All I can say is that they don't appear to have failed yet.

Even if I checked them, I wouldn't vouch for them! I have seen drives fail minutes after successfully completing full diagnostics. And I'm talking about newer drives, not these ancient ones that would have to travel through the post!
