Just got myself a nice CSPPC from Germany and what happened? DHL has lost the package...

I have sent and received several hundreds, if not thousands of packages for the last 20-25 years and just once before where a package lost. Now of course its a expensive PowerPC card that is lost, thanks a lot DHL

I hope you took out adequate insurance on this.

DHL tracking is normally very good. Even when they manage to loose something, they usually find it again. They are also automatically insured too, for €500 as far as I can remember, but the sender has to make the claim I think?

Yes, that's true of all forms of shipping - the contract is with the sender of the item.

Yea that's how it is. Package is insured by DHL, by ebay, by paypal and last my creditcard company so no worries there.

And of course I don't blame Germans in general, I hoped everyone where would realize that.

I sympathize, I also had a package lost recently, although nothing as expensive.
I received a mail notice that the package is on its way to my local post-office branch, but they claim it never arrived...

Its amazing how clumsy they can be
