well it feels good to be an Amigan once again.
a few years back i bought an Amiga 1200 with psu for £1 at a car boot sale, and disgracefully sold it on ebay.
This month my mother was moving house and asked me if i would like my uncles old A1200 that he passed along (and owned from new back in the day)
It's a rev 2B, and seems to be in average condition. my uncles never smoked, but in the 5 years of my mother owning it had managed to "patina" it for me, i've given it a damn good clean and treated it to a first upgrade, a 4GB CF drive from amigakit.com.
Im looking to get an accelerator for it next so i can play the AGA titles that require abit more grunt.
Generally im quite pleased to have another one, and seeing this ones been in the family all it's life i guess im going to have to get it recapped and have any required mods that may be needed along the way, also i'll be keeping this one, unlike the aforementioned A1200 i picked up previously! (stupid of me to let it go tbh as it owed me so little
icard). now i see how much there going for and feel gratefull to have one for keeps !
