Hi,

There is a sub for sale on ebay UK, that is UK shipping only. I'd wonder if any of my UK amibay friends would help me secure it?

PM me, and I'll tell you the item number, and how high I'm willing to go.

x-ing fingers! :D

I might be able to help. Give me a PM.

Do you need an entire crew to sail the sub to Norway? I think just one person will not operate it adequately.

lol, the more the merrier? :P

I think Andy will put in a bid on my behalf, if he doesn't get the time to do it - it's not critical. As a friend just the otherday fixed the power supply of my old one. But it would be nice to have the one Andy might bid on for me for spare parts, "just in case".

I wish I had the wits about me to take soldering pr0n pics when my friend fixed it. A capacitator got replaced, and two other components I have no idea what were, which where fixed to a huge heat sink. All three components on the "input side" of the transformer. Everything else checked out a-okay by my friend.

His dayjob is to repair hospital equipment, and he's a trained electrical engineer.

Fun to see the equipment he has, soldering iron that's controllable to a degree, and desoldering iron that vaccum the solder out... Gizmo pr0n..
