Hi

Post delivered "gift" from Petro today, and I'd like to share my joy of having new Amiga :D

Item was moderately packed. Most of air bags were empty, but there was some bubble wrap too. Outer box should have been wider to have bubble wrap on all sides ..

MagicPack box was damaged as Petro had warned. Software pack disks were also missing, but that also was already told. WB disks are included in unopened bag. I haven't tested the Amiga yet, but I suspect new caps are needed. :-)

The Amiga itself is in totally mint condition. No any marks of use at all. PSU and mouse are also new, but cords are oddly yellow and dirty looking.

Congrats!!!! It is a pitty that the box was a little damaged. It looks like that the 1200 was opended, the warranty seal is broken, but overall the 1200 looks great! After a good recap it should give to you countless hours of fun!!!

Hiya,

Congrats on your new Miggy, now go play some games on it :D

I prefer the black light-weight PSU or (if you can find one) the 'updated' PSU

You might get away with the CAPS, I'd probably just fire it up and see how you go. If it sounds fine and plays fine then the CAPS are probably fine :)

My Petro A1200 sounds fine and plays fine, but the caps are clearly not fine. It should always be opened up and checked. Better to replace them before they get a chance to corrode all the way through, which is when you usually notice the problems.
