Upgrading to a FlickerFixer
To upgrade you need two video-field memories of type OKI 518221Z-30 OR OKI 518222Z-30 in ZIP form.
Open the unit and insert the chips into the ZIP sockets, make sure the writing is facing the 23pin video connector
After fitting, gently bend them towards the 23pin connector to allow the case to close correctly
Open the FF-Ena jumper
Set the 222Mod jumper correctly, according to the FRAM type you used.

Interested in one set. But need to check after work first, if mine is compatible.

Mine is a different type - so I must withdraw my interest.

It should fit this one, shouldn't it?

Oh, another model!
You already have 2x chips memory at the left, near the connector.
You have 2x ZIP empty sockets.
Do you have the manual about this 3rd model of MV1200?

This manual has a picture of the newer FF version (w/o zip socket), but still talks about using the zip sockets + jumper to upgrade to FF, so I guess it must be the one.
Anyway, I'm willing to take the chance.

Is there any difference between the -221 and -222 zips, other than the jumper configuration?

Thanks!
Frode

I have the model on your top picture, but as on your picture it has no sockets, just four ZIP ICs soldered and no jumper anywhere. So does that mean it already has the FF function?

Package arrived, and... it works! :)
