Up for sale is my Pal Black Classic XBox 1.4.

It has been TSOP flashed with iND-BiOS, and the hard drive upgraded to 160gb. It currently boots to Xbox Media Center.

It'll come with an RGB Scart cable, a composite cable, a power cable, Official DVD Dongle & Remote and 1 third party controller (Logic 3).

Its in good condition, the drive boots original disks and DVDrs just fine. The only slight issue is the fan is a bit noisier than I remember an Xbox fan being.

I used a laptop hard drive to upgrade the xbox. It runs really quiet, and more importantly cool. It's installed with a proper caddy so is safe & sound.

I'm looking to get £45 £40 £35 £30 + p&p for this. p&p for the uk will be £7 via MyHermes, or you can choose your own courier at your cost. Overseas will be (at a rough guess) £25-£30 for Europe.

I am also trying to sell this elsewhere.

Will put up photos tonight (memory pending)

Pictures attached.

Plus, I forgot to mention in my original post, I have removed the "Clock Capacitor" - the one that has been known to leak and damage the board. This means that the date and time is wrong quite a lot, but at least the board will last longer!

I will, of course get a duster out and clean before sending.

Wish i lived in the UK but alas i don't. Postage will be a killer.

Aye, Ive just had a quick look. Looking at over £50 for your little island. It'd probably be cheaper to fly there myself with this as my luggage...

It is heavy, thats the main problem...

Not declaring interest - what do you mean when you say the laptop dvd is installed safe and sound - have you replaced the original DVD drive with a laptop one? Can you please show a picture? Thanks!

I think by laptop drive he means the hard drive. I.e. he's used a 2.5" hdd instead of the 3.5" it would usually be fitted with. I'd assume the 2.5" has been installed using some sort of mounting kit.

Oh I see - that makes sense! thanks for clarifying and good luck with the sale (tempted myself but shipping is a no-go)

yep, that's what Chinners mean, a 2.5" HDD instead of a 3.5" one. Way better for the xbox IMHO because of less heat being produced. Never hurts to have less heat

Aye. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

It's the original dvd drive but a lappy hard drive. The hard drive is in a proper mounting kit, not glued in place or some other equally silly.

Just checked for France. Rough estimate is £15 for shipping. Id have to pack it for an exact quote.

I can't find the composite tv cable for the xbox. The scart lead is still there though. Are you ok to continue without the composite lead?
