Clockports and Freeway CPs arrived safe and sound. Working perfectly. Just one thing I should mention to anyone wanting to install one of these clockport adapters in their A500 - you may no longer be able to replace the expansion cover once the clockport adapter is installed.

There are two issues stopping the expansion cover from being fitted with the clockport adapter installed. 1 - the pins from the connector poke through the PCB about 3mm. These can be trimmed down. 2 - the bottom of the clockport adapter PCB fouls with the inside bottom edge of the expansion cover. Unfortunately without a radical redesign there is nothing that can be done about this.

As these were going into new A1200net cases I have unfortunately had to leave them out, but I am sure they will come in handy sometime in the future. However as these are the new A1200net cases there is a chance there is a slight variation between them and original A500 cases, so this issue may not be present on original A500 cases.

Anywho, as previously mentioned, the cards all arrived in good order, packaged well and work well with the Poseidon stack.

Not sure if this would be helpful to anyone out there, but I have managed to get the A500 expansion cover to fit with the Clockport adapter. In short, what is needed is:

[1] - Trim the bottom row of protruding pins from the back of the Clockport adapter. You can trim both rows, but only the bottom row fouls.

[2] - Create a 5mm wide groove in the expansion port cover as shown. For depth, go down level with the stepped out edge (around 1.5mm deep). You can do this with a square edged file, however if you are a perfectionist like myself and have access to a CNC router, you can machine out the groove so that it looks like it was manufactured like that. At the end of the day it is inside the case so you can't see it..... but it bothers me to know something is not perfect, even if I can't see it.

Hope this helps anyone else in the same boat.
