maybe I am overlooking obvious but is there a troubleshooting or forum page for this. Everything seems to work except Amiga does not see files transferred from Pc but anything copied on Amiga shows on both platforms.

Probably new to Amiga OS?
Files and folders copied on PC doesn't have filemap.info file, hence these aren't shown!
You need to activate this view manually:

If You want that view to be fixed - make a snapshot:

Now all files will be shown each time You open USB window

as I have said , done that. Any amiga file I have on the pc and copied to usb will not show on Amiga side. I always do show all files and the only thing that shows in the window is system volume information. Nothing else. Briefly when double clicking usb Icon the volume information on header of window will show accurate empty/full information. Then it goes right to zero percent.
Again, If i save from amiga side to usb the file will show and is transferable to pc. Nothing from Pc side will show on Amiga side using show all files, or looking at in Directory Opus.

I have used different usb drives also with same outcome. Correct name shows on desktop icon though. Also keyboard and mice attachments work well with. This is using Zorro card extension with my Checkmate 1500 system. Zorro 2 mode. Caffeine OS and Amiga OS3.2 with Pistorm.
I have an original A4000 I can try with but it would be more useful in present setup.

Oh! Now I recall - there was some issues with Checkmate!!! Please try on A4000

Ok, works fine in the 4000. Unless someone ever figures out Checkmate issue, it will stay there. No big deal, original plan was to put in 4000 anyways.

Is there a USB card for Amiga 500 users who are using an adapter to transfer their male zorro to female zorro?

Straight gender changer will not work, standard Zorro has 100pin connector while A500 has only 86pin Slot...

A500 has two possibilities to get USB working:
1. Using a Freeway Clockport card (with Clockport Adapter)
2. Using a Zorro Freeway card (with a special Zorro Adapter)

This is exactly what I have.

That is what I have with me right there, right now, except it is red colored and have a USB port on the side. The USB port is for charging and giving power only. I want to use it, it is sitting in the box unused. I also want to use it for external hard drive using USB for more storage. I can use the USB for external DVD-ROM etc. I would like to order a zorro USB for my A500, how do I go about doing it? One last question. Once I order it, I am going to put the USB jack or ports facing the wall. better yet, can you show picture for proper installation of the USB card? Thanks in advance.

I can't, sorry... don't own such an Adapter, it's just a picture from internet I've used...
