Need to admit haven't tested such kind of splitters, in other hand normal USB HUBs are working just fine with all Freeway cards, so the chances are pretty good. According to third picture in the link You've provided this gadget has same pinout, so yeah, test it, and let us know Your results.
Here You can find old and outdated E3B list of compatible devices, maybe You have something that You don't even need to buy?

Just checked first post- its is clearly noted:
3x Triton Lite (green PCB) and
10x Triton Full (blue PCB) are available

Also - are there any issues with running on an A4000TX board?

Freeway USB cards are designed to be used on original Commodore Amiga computers, and may or may not work on Amiga-like homebrew clones. We can't take any responsibility for that. Furthermore there is no any documentation for such homebrew computers like A4000TX so it is really hard to say anything about. As much I know - some problems exist with Prelude audio cards - these are probably due to missing/not routed INT signals on Zorro slots. I've asked the designer of TX board regarding this issue, but never heard back from him, so yeah.... Test it, and let us know.. Or better not order if in doubt..
