This listing is for new card, latest redesign REV: 2.4 done in 2025. with several improvements:
1. New FPGA in different package with center gating who gives lot of benefits over corner gating. Some of the benefits of such molding are:
a) Better balanced thermal and mechanical stress
b) Longer power and temperature cycling lifetime
c) Better solder joints due to even mass distribution
d) Better signal integrity
e) Better timings on higher frequencies
...
2. Improved FastRam trace length, traces are more equal to each others to improve better timings
3. Improved teardrops especially near DIL to avoid possible cracks during thermal cycles and during assembly on Amiga motherboard
4. Introduced new LAB testings and inspection 3D AOI, ICT, FCT, so much more tests performed than before where only flying probe is used.
5. Improved soldering of smallest 0402 components
6. There are lot more to write about what is done for this revision but I will keep that for an more serious article on my website. It took about 3 months of work to get this revision done.
