He he, my car is parked also, probably due to water in petrol they add to make extra profit... I will probably have more V600 V2 cards later, we will see. Now I m focusing my work on V500 V2 production, again. Apparently there are still few A500 left in the world who don't have Vampire in it :P

Declaring interest.
Is there any way to disable the Vampire whilst it is installed? I'd like to be able to fall back to the 68k for compatibility...
Secondly, is there a way to get these to mount reliably as I never did manage to the my previous vampire for the 600 to be stable for a long time, I think due to the mounting :(
Interested if there's a solution to those!

(Interest withdrawn here)

Hi, I think that you got the card from early days where some additional sanding of the socket was needed. Now, situation is much better because different sockets are used and card is tied to the CPU very firmly. There are also screws and plastic holders included but I personally don't use them as card is very secured even without them.

As for disabling V600V2 we introduced 4 speed grades in latest core selectable over apollo tools so you can select from slowest one who is close to stock A600. This is automated with whdload within CoffinOS. But, you can't disable card completely if that's what you want.
