@ Kipper2k

Any news about Vampire 500?

Hi, Majsta is still working on it, i think the best way to keep up to date is to monitor his web page.

All 8 Vampires are now off to the Post office in time for the last pickup of the day. Please see my web page ( www.kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/ ) and check out the info on installing the a600 fastmem board (same as the Vampire). All boards mailed have 2 small screws taped to the board for those that want to secure it a little more tightly. Please do not bend the board or overtighten as the Cyclone II CPU has very fine legs and can easily be pulled off if the board is twisted or bent.

Entire batch of 8 has gone. I will make another batch but i cannot start a preorder process as i don't want to promise a delivery time and i have other things on the go. (wife really wants me to finish putting the main bathroom back together again). I'll build another block of them and then put them up for sale, that way i can get it all done in one foul swoop so to speak.

Kipper2k: no worry and I perfectly understand. However and just FYI on the thread opened by Majta and yourself the deliveries never reached my ranking so I couldn't buy any last time...
I hope I'll be luckier next time. ::)

Is there a waiting list or do we have to hit F5 here every few hours of every day until we get lucky? ;)

Vampire in da house !!! :D

I think this day will be long... ^^

edit: any way to show core version under workbench/cli ?

I've been a bit busy lately, the board arrived two days ago. At the moment I don't yet have the possibility to test it :(

Positive feedback left..

if you could excuse my ignorance, what's a vampire board? thnx.

It's an FPGA based accelerator card and extra memory for the Amiga 600. Currently it's a bit experimental but being improved continuously. Since its FPGA based it can be reflashed to simulate different processors like 68000, 68020 and hopefully 68030 at one point.
