Right, I have a bit of stuff I've been collecting up for too long.
Building a new rig and having a clearout but it's too much hassle to sell this stuff so here is is. Everything is going for p&p and I'll work out what it is when/if necessary.
If you think you can spare slightly more than postage then I'd really appreciate it - computers are expensive :crying:

5.25" Disk drives, various CD, CDRW and old DVD drives, most are beige. If you want one I'll have a look through them to see what I have. Just ask for what you want - I'm not going to get pics otherwise

Floppy drives - lots - ask if you want one or something specific. I might even have a couple of them with black faceplates.

RAM - lots - I think I have some more somewhere too but for the time being we'll just say I have what's pictured.

CPUs - I know I have more athlons in a box somewhere...
3x 2.2GHz Intel Pentium Ms - No guarantees that these work properly.
1x 2Ghz and 1x 1.6Ghz (Pentium Ms?) - No idea with these, had them for ages.
1x AMD Athlon (whatever speed it is - Info on it might provide some info)
More Athlons XPsomethings I think - I'll try find these if people care ;)
Pretty sure the Athlons are all fine, just a bit on the slow side for me now.

Acer Aspire 1360 Laptop - No HDD or RAM - pick RAM from the selection I'm getting rid of...
This worked fine last time I used it (about 2 years ago) and the battery was ok.
No power supply for it though (I just borrowed one before).

Compaq evo N800W laptop keyboards - I think I might have 3 of them.

ATX power supplies, most are old and noisy(ish), various powers.

Athlon Motherboards - A few which I'll try dig out later again if someone's interested.

AMD K6-2 CPU from 1998

PCI Cards - various - see pics.

I've also got a D-Link Airplus Extreme G PCI wireless card if someone's prepared to give a few quid more than postage I'll let it go (not going to make a new thread for this)

Pictures for most stuff follows. Feel free to ask any questions.

Also got an ELO Touchscreen (Entuitive 1525L) - 15" Resistive touch screen (Serial) listed on the bay thing here if anyone's interested (not free but hey). If it doesn't sell then it'll be appearing on this forum (maybe for free ;) )

I'd be interested in the Acer laptop if its still available. I have ram around here and i'm sure i could find a hdd and psu too

Also in the PCI cards, is there an older sound blaster compatible card with Win98 compatibility? (cant quite see whats what in the pile lol)

*Edit*

actually laptop no longer wanted, was for my father but just phoned him and he's sorted with a tower now instead.

Still interested in a sound blaster card with win98 compatibility though if there is one

I've got a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 and a Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS

From a quick google search, looks like you can get windows 98 drivers for both - make your own mind up on that though :)

2nd In line for the Acer Aspire 1360, In dire need of one ever since my Toshiba one has gone awol. :(
Also interested in the Audigy 2 and any 168 Pin SD RAM modules.
On behalf of a friend would also be interested in an AMD Athlon that is between 2200+ and 2600+ if you got one. :)

[EDIT] If it's not too rude, will be interested in any Voodoo's you got. :)

Hi mate.

I would be interested in one 2,2 GHz and one 2 GHz Pentium M. If they work, they will do good in my old Centrino laptop.

Alos, i see an ISA SB board in the picture? What model is that?

Thanks.

Think you can match up a mobo, cpu, memory and gfx card for me as i only wanted it for old windows games.

thanks

Interested by 5.25" Disk drives & CD, CDRW and DVD drive.
PM sent.

Firstly, that was quite a few replies in a very short space of time :D

Secondly, I think this is going to have to be UK only (sorry LTAC - unless you're in the UK atm I don't think it'll be worth your while).
I also should have made it more clear - 5.25" optical drives (some CD, some DVD)

morcar - that would involve effort :p Isn't anyone upgrading computers in Wales?
I'll take a look if I get the time but it might get a bit expensive (especially if you want a PSU as well).

Looks like you're first in line for it now.

Also interested in the Audigy 2 and any 168 Pin SD RAM modules.
I'll wait and see what scrappysphinx says on the Sound Blaster Cards.
I have rather a lot of 168 SD RAM modules - you interested in all of them?

I would be interested in one 2,2 GHz and one 2 GHz Pentium M. If they work, they will do good in my old Centrino laptop.
I'll set some aside for you.

You do?

On behalf of a friend would also be interested in an AMD Athlon that is between 2200+ and 2600+ if you got one.
I'm sure I have - I'll take a look.

If it's not too rude, will be interested in any Voodoo's you got.
I saw that question coming - don't think I've got any although I have a vague memory of seeing one somewhere...

I'm getting a bit mixed up in replies here - lemme write some stuff down :D

---------- Post added at 17:36 ---------- Previous post was at 17:28 ----------

Ok so I just found 2 Pentium 4s, a 2.8GHz and a 3.2GHz - both are almost certainly broken from what I remember.

Also an AMD Duron 1.3GHz and an AMD Athlon 1.1GHz. The Athlon I mentioned above is an XP 2000+ (1.667GHz)

If tokyo wants the audigy sound blaster i don't mind asking for the 5.1 as long as it has windows 98 compatibility.

Just noticed you're offering 5.25" drives too. I would be interested in 1 dvdrom if you have one and its not too much trouble.

When you're ready let me know how much postage would be.

Thanks

Mike

More goodies - I'm sure someone can tell me what they are. I'm not so up on my old hardware.

Yes please mate, let me know when you looked at all the Skt.A's.

Do you have any RAM that's suitable for the Acer? I think it takes SO-DIMM 333Mhz modules if I done my homework right. :)

As for the 168 SD's, anything thats 64mb+ would be great mate. :D

Yeah I've got some RAM to suit - I'll check it boots with RAM before I send it off and stick in as much as I can find (I've got a power supply I can borrow for that).
No promises about the CPU - I've had a bit more of a look round and I'm not sure where else I might have one.

EDIT: The last one I can find is a 1800+
Any interest in that or the 2000+?

Well there are some that aren't labelled (pretty sure they're 64MB+ though) and there's a possibility some don't work so I'll send you them all :)

Beige please.
I'll dig one out then :)

I'll get back to all parties about postage when I've found some boxes to send things in and worked out how much it'll be.

Ah don't worry about the CPU's then mate, as for the laptop ram, just looking into the blurb it's said that that laptop was shipped upto 3300+ CPU's which would suggest it would support PC3200 (400mhz) RAM so if that works then even better. :) Really appreciate the effort.

I've got 768MB of 3200 which I'll try.
Else it'll be 512MB of 2700.

Edit: The 3200 was the wrong type so it's now booting happily with 512MB of PC2700

Oh and it's a 1.6GHz Mobile Semprom 2800+
Got 64MB of NVidea FX graphics too - a real powerhouse (and a bit noisy :p )

I know I'm not in the UK, but I'm interested in one mobile Pentium CPU if you can send it abroad. A jiffybag is enough for it.

Postage to Brazil (aka Banana Land), good sir?

Interested in Black DVD IDE if it's available

Interested also in those AGP Cards with passive coolers. If they are available.

One is for sure ATI the other might be a Voodoo 3 or S3 Savage.

AGP card with blue PCB with the DVI connector below the red one.

AMD K6-2@366 and Matrox Millenium PCI VGA

Sorry for the wait y'all - it's been a really busy week at work.

I'll PM each person with postage costs.

People who aren't in the UK, I'll do my best...

Seaside, one's an ATI as you can see and the other one, now that I've looked it up, is actually a 3dfx voodoo3 card (which unfortunately means tokyoracer's bagged it).

Time to get the scales out and get weighing stuff.
