Ok, so the car has failed the MOT test and I need to find some money to buy a new Lambda sensor and cat!
As a bit of a hoarder, it breaks my heart to let these go, but Im pretty sure you are a great crowd here, so the bits will be going to a good home!

As some may know, I was going to open a retro computer repair shop, and quite a few of the machine prices listed reflect this.(i.e. not particularly in perfect working order).
The parts below were tested and have descriptions of any issues. Im trying to put a fair price for each machine, but if any are set a bit off mark, just let me know. (I dont want to be ripping anyone off!lol). A final test will be done before shipping for peace of mind.
I would insist on tracked insured postage, but I may post cheaper at your own risk!Please let me know which.

Anyway here goes:

Atari STF1040: Works ok.Floppy tested ok............£25

C= VIC20: In VGC. I was told that it had never been used and I tend to agree with this. The keyboard is an absolute joy to use (unlike most unresponsive breadbox ones I have to bash at!). Comes with modulator and PSU. The poly and the card are in good condition, although not perfect, as its been shifted here and there for years! Works ok.....£25

Amstrad CPC464: Works ok.Tape deck tested.Loads game ok.NO PSU/monitor......£10

Sinclair Spectrum+: Works ok.Boxed with leads/PSU. RF lead output a bit noisy through TV speaker.....£15

C= Amiga A500: Yellowing case.No side door.Working ok.Includes PSU/mouse.....£15

C= Amiga A500: Working ok!Inc. PSU/mouse....£20

Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K: Works ok.Inc.PSU......£10...SOLD to Sardine

Atari STE 1040: TOS ROM toggle switch fitted along with well finished custom replacement drive button cutout from case.Works ok....£30

C= Amiga 500:
Works fine. Boxed with polys, manual,PSU, mouse, RF modulator.V2.00 ROMS fitted......£30....SOLD to Crowejohn20

C=Amiga A500: Works fine.Boxed with polys,PSU,manuals,mouse...£25

OK. Lets see how we go with these few... :)

If you need any more info on any of the above, just ask.

I'd be interested in the Spectrum+ depending on cost to ship to USA 40422.

Interested in the A500 man

Which one??!! lol

I cant believe the speed of this! I was expecting a much slower pickup.
Ok I will really have to find a camera ASAP. (Have just destroyed my Android based phone! Boo!) Any interests will then be sent pictures to make sure everything is ok. Also, unless you specify cheap delivery, I will be finding costs for insured and tracked delivery costs.
Thanks for looking everyone.

Crowejohn20, could you be a bit more specific please. Which A500 are you interested in as i see 4 for sale.

Interested in the CPC464 on behalf of a brazilian buddy. He will post in thread today.

If not, dis-consider, please.

Hi Mr.BomberMillzy,

Could I please declare interest in this Amiga 500:

>C=Amiga A500: Works fine.Boxed with polys,PSU,manuals,mouse...£25

Will send PM to clarify postage costs and organise for pictures.

Regards,

Silversurfer.

Declaring interest in the 48K Speccy and second in line for the 464. I will hold back PMing until we know whether rkauer takes delivery :)

Off topic, but might be of help to you.

Lambda and cat? My friends Vauxhall Zafira failed her MOT on high emissions *everywhere*, and the garage doing the MOT wanted to replace the cat and o2 sensor at stupid amounts of money. I smelled a bit of a rat, as well as a rich exhaust, and took it to see a mate of mine who has various diagnostic equipment, access to an emissions tester and so on.

Cut a long story short, it turns out a faulty MAF (airflow reading too high causing overfuelling) does an excellent impression of a dodgy cat and 02. A lot cheaper to replace too.

I think darkxavier has called the Spectrum already.

@uncle_meat; Thanks. The cost of the bits is worth more than the car! Its an oldskool Fiat Panda! lol! I had to sell my FTO to buy it as the girlfriend is learning to drive and the insurance for that was laughable (and it was a semi-auto gearbox too so no good for her).
Im gutted, as its one of the first ones to use fuel injection and I struggle to diagnose the airflow meter/lambda problems.Would have much preferred a carbed one...See how hardcore retro I am! :lol:

Whoops...didn't spot that one.. second in line for the 48K'er...

@ Bomber. Heh.. Retro vehicles, like retro computers, you can't beat 'em. I've *never* been let down by a set of points and a carb. I've got a couple of old motorbikes, you can clean the carbs, set the timing by the roadside with nowt else but a packet of skins to set the gap and a couple of screwdrivers to take it all apart.

As for the Panda, is it new enough to support OBD? You can get the fault readers for little more than a tenner from various places nowadays, they pay for themselves in a moment just for resetting fault codes and so on, read live data from the MAF/o2 sensor/fuel trims and so on, the kind of thing that Vaux/Ford/etc charge you £50 a pop for.

Im actually in West Sussex, however, I visit my daughter every week who lives in Hampshire and my sister every now and then who lives in Dorset. This means I can collect/drop off stuff if need be from Chichester to Bournemouth. Hence 'South'! However, I will update the profile as requested. :)

Thanks dude! :) Best of luck with the sales, youve got some awesome stuff :thumbsup:

Go for the lambda or the O2 it will cure the problem 9 out 10. I use to work in the MOT department and have seen a lot of those emmision failures.
