I've aquired an Atari Falcon 30. While it's tempting to keep it, I am more of an ST-guy and will sell it.
- It has been upgraded to 14 MB RAM by a previous owner
- I have replaced the harddrive with a newer (but used) 40GB Seagate disk. Disk tested with no bad blocks.
I've just made a few relatively small partitions for testing. It works. I currently runs the ICD HD driver. I've
also tested that it works with the HDDriver demo.
- I will also include the harddrive that was in the Falcon when I got it. It is an 80MB replacement unit. But
it is in no working condition. I've had luck a couple of times and it booted from it. But more often it will not boot.
But I will include it if you want to try to salvage some data from it. There are som software on the disk.
- I've tested the floppy drive by formatting disks, loading the hardrive driver and utilities and a copied a few small
demoes from floppy to HD.
- Running demoes the sound is working (I have not tested the line output)
- Inside is nice and clean and outside seems to be in very good condition. Only thing to mention is a long, but quite shallow
scratch on the right side of the chassis.
- Mouse included, It's working fine. Retro-style mousepad will aslo be inlcuded.
- Atari VGA-adapter included. (The tips of the thumbscrews are broken off.)
- Atari Falcon advertisment brochure included (quite a fun read
)
- Steinberg Cubase audio clock included (not tested)
By using it for a fews everything seems to be working. But I have not done extensive testing beyond what I have mentioned.
PRICE: 1900 EUR + shipping
Please see photos! I will be happy to answer questions.
