Interested pending shipping cost to switzerland or usa.

Also are there any pictures of it working?

It'll be about 30 Euro's for shipping I think to Switzerland, USA would be more expensive and they'll probably charge you with import duties. Where would you like it sent?

Switzerland certainly would charge import duties, they open everything. I will be here only 2 more weeks. Didnt know it doesnt work in a 68060, which i have in my 2000. Withdrawing interest. Thanks!

Vortex Golden Gate Bridgeboard 486SLC plus extras

It will work with an 68060 dependent on the accelerator i.e.

Cyberstorm MK1 it will not work with

CSMKII, CSMKIII and CSPPC it will work fine with

Other 060 accelerators I'm not so sure of but I think BlindGerMan uses a A2000 with a 060 card

I have mine working with a CSMKII and I Just need to type "CPU NoCache" in shell and some users may have also have to run the NoFastMem program.

Here is a link for some information on using these Goldengate's with 68060's

https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?92836-GoldenGate-vortex-386

this will help potential buyers and cameraman test the card in his A4000

Tim has just helped me to get my Goldengate to work and I have the Cyberstorm mk2 as well it works Like a dream if you look up my thread you can see where the guys helped me and also down load the needed script which works perfect plus the Goldengates were designed for the A2000 and A3000 you will need the CPU adapter Possibly for the 68000 but with having the 060 fitted this may not be needed will read up on the manual for you. Tim I have not forgotten about the manual for you will at some point when I have a few days off try to get it scanned.

Just read it and it does say about the cpu connector but it does not mention anything to do with CPU upgrades so My Guess is that it will work just like it does in the 4000 with 060.:cool: 20170624_183308[1].jpg20170624_183253[1].jpg20170624_183241[1].jpg20170622_213839[1].jpg

Ahh just in case someone points out about the card being the 386 its exact same card as the 486 just with a different cpu soldered on if you have the skills you can upgrade the 386 version

Ahhh i thought with all 60s. Does it need a cpu adaptor in the 68000 slot to work? I remember had one of these once in my first 2000 in switzerland and it didnt work.

Thank you my friends!

I think I am passing on this, not enough time to tinker with it in case it doesnt work

Having read about some of the heartache people have had (I am an 060 user as well) and the fact this seems untested From a faulty machine, I am out as well, just way too much risk.

sigh.....

Oke people, this card IS working, its just the Amiga 2000 that had quit.
I've gotten the 2000 to work again, removing all cards and it turns out the accellerator card is giving problems.
I've posted extra pictures to show the Vortex in the early boot menu and the setup screen. Its giving a 'fatal'error regarding the ISA bus but that's likely only on this A2000 because extra slots were soldered in and may be causing the shortcircuit.

Arrived yesterday, all elements work absolutely fine in the A3000, no issues! I'm particularly impressed with the homebrew monitormaster, it works perfectly with the CV64, so I have Amiga video, RTG and PC all working through one monitor!

Feedback on the way :)
