Found Warp Engine Rev 3 040 to 060 socket upgrade

Looking for a 68040 to 68060 CPU upgrade socket for a Rev 3 Warp Engine (Thanks to Timtheloon for the rev ID). Obviously in Working order.

dependant on which version Warp Engine you have will decide the type you will need

I think a rev 3 will take a normal 040 to 060 adapter however a rev 1 it will hit components on the board

Just bought this one. But can’t see any revision markings on it… Will this be okay for what I am after? 040 to 060 adapter?

Thanks. Just compared the underside to the one I have just bought. It does appear to be a REV 3

I have a socket "kit" I purchase here (Amibay) years ago (2014); I upgraded the kit with an actual 060 socket. I have all the original parts and the instructions. The build should be much simpler with the 060 socket. If interested, send me a PM

just remember if you are using Amiga OS kickstarts from 3.1.4 or 3.2 its not needed due to it being in the kickstart already
