Were Amiga big box games originally sealed?

Hi all,

Back in the 80s and 90s I had a huge collection of big box games for various systems and they all came sealed and I took great pleasure in opening them.

I don't recall any big box games being sealed, they all had the discs & manuals removed, much like cash generator do these days.
I suppose if you bought mail order then they may have been factory sealed?


Although I did live in a small city with not many options for buying games

In Canada they were sealed, either shrink wrap or with a sticker over the flap.
