What are good single player FPS games on pc?

For starters I've bought Medal of Honor for a mere €4,99 in the Origin store. So far I've been having quite some fun blasting away a few hundred Afghan baddies (all on Easy level mind you). Might take a look at some other suggestions later on

Did you guys not read the 'no aliens', 'no zombies' etc at all?

I did, which is why I didn't even bother to reply...all these dusty, desaturated, more-"realistic"-than-thou war shooters bore the pants off me. I miss the days when shooters involved rocket-jumping, physics abuses, techno-Lovecraft, and Mecha Hitler.

I'm not a massive fan of the FPS genre, it bores me know, but absolutely loved Doom and Heretic Those are what I call real FPS games
