Well, after a few months of trying to convince myself that I hadn't gotten bored with playing Oblivion again after three weeks, I'm back to Morrowind. Only this time, I've got ~10GB of mods installed, mostly texture and model replacers  I figure I can just make it the absolute nicest Morrowind experience possible, and then just keep replaying that forever, instead of banging my head against the wall with Oblivion...

Though I really can't wait to get my next upgrade (Core 2 Duo & PCIe video) done so I can enable MGE and crank up all the lovely modern shaders...it's gorgeous that way, but my old P4/AGP system just can't handle it...

I've been playing Dishonored on the PC and it's absolutely brilliant! I didn't know that killing people would make the game more difficult though! I pretty much went on a killing spree through the first few levels as it seemed easier that way... Boy was i wrong in the long run .

I didn't know if i would enjoy this game at first, but now i'm loving it!

I wasn't overly impressed with this game. It felt a bit like a steampunk version of Deus Ex: ER, a game I adored. Speaking of which there were too many times where I wished I could have had the stealth aspects from Deus Ex: ER rather than the clumsy peek around the corner trick in Dishonoured. I still enjoyed it but I would have enjoyed it more if some of the mechanics were a bit better.

I have been playing Metalgear Rising and Dead Space 3. DS3 is OK but lacks the pacing and atmosphere in places that the previous parts had. Especially DS2 which had me freaked out a fair few times, that intro still makes my skin crawl. MGR:R is ok but lacks some polish on the controls. The parry system could have been inplimented better and one early on pocket boss, Saber Wolf, would have been less of a headache for it. Other than that it's enjoyable and a nice departure from previous MG games.

I've been playing Darious Twin and Choujikuu Yousai Macross - Scrambled Valkyrien on my new Snes! Thanks critanime, awesome shooters

Choujikuu Yousai Macross - Scrambled Valkyrien is a awesome shooter. Difficult but rewarding. One of the later levels has your rushing down a tunnel. So be warned because it spanked me too many times to count.

So, apart from my regular bouts of OpenTTD, I've actually been playing a bit of Megadrive Sonic and Sonic 2 this evening. All good fun!

Been playing a lot of Arkanoid 2 on the zx spectrum emulator

Cybernetix: The First Battle

WHDload version plays the Music too quick :o

Better played of the old AF 85b disk

Saints Row The Third. It's like GTA that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Taking out a gang with an air strike. How's that?

currently on the move to a new home, so all my gear is packed. but just before it.

I played accasens creed revelations on ps3, very good game

silent hill 2 HD ps3, wish someone could make a game like this again, one of the best games I've ever played

civilization 5 good and kings on the PC, after numerous updates is almost possible to play without too much headache. sid meier has much to improve in the future

and of course wings on the A1200, superfrog has also taken a lot of time.

very good game :)

I started Flight of the Amazon Queen over the weekend. Quite impressed so far, the graphics aren't on a par with Monkey Island but are good enough. It's also reasonably difficult without being plain impossible like some adventure games.

crysis 3 on of at 5760x1080

What you compensating for there John?? :p:D

Im currently playing Deluxe Pacman, Deluxe Galaga and Arcade Pool on the Amiga (old skool style with actual floppy disks! )
