I really like this thread from EAB so thought I'd bring it here for those who only post on Amibay...

Anyway, the idea of the thread is to discuss the games you are playing at the moment, they can be new or retr0 classics, basicly what you are playing at the moment.

I'm currently playing Modern Warfare 3 and Forza 4, I'll start with MW3 as I'm really impressed that it runs perfect on my old skool rig, I still have my socket 939 AMD 4400+ X2, 2gb Ram badboy and thanks to an GTX260 896mb GFX Card this game runs great just like the first two.

Really enjoyed the New York campaign and nice to see Africa and London, wont spoil anymore, I'm only about 33% through but so far another great game in the series.

On to Forza 4, I know Justin is a fanboi so I don't want to give this game too much praise but so far I'm getting stuck in and enjoying it, strange that it's one of the only driving games I'm playing with the cockpit view but it plays really well. I especially enjoyed the dual race on the winding Japanese Mountain roads, great fun drifting round those corners and reaslising you cant stop and taking out the slower traffic

Anyway, feel free to jump in and let us know what you are playing, whether it's good or bad

Well currently, I'm re-living some Sonic Megadrive goodness in anticipation of Sonic Generations arrival in the post (I would have loved the limited edition but couldnt justify the cost at the time :(, had to settle for special edition on offer...) Naturally once that arrives I'll be playing that lots. :D

I also have Skyrim which hasnt got much use since release day with all the coursework I've had to keep up with, so thats also on the burner when I have a little more time.

Sonic, you can play a few levels and switch it off or complete the game in a few hours or so. With Skyrim, its more like play a few days and then switch it off, forcably once your body denies you the strength to move the mouse and keep your eyelids open at the same time.

*rubs hands aka Mr Burns style... EXCELLLLLLLENT*

Test Drive II: The Dual (the wee Amiga 600)
Never gets boring and 'kinda' like the real thing no?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360 'S')
Not really dabbled with the campaign yet, more multi-player but as a COD lover and loyalist (owning all of em') it shocks me to admit it but... not impressed so far, gimmie 4=MW, 5=WaW and 6=MW2 what's happened to Infinity Ward?!?! :(
Angry Birds: Seasons (iPhone4)
New Xmas levels just released :) nice!
Street Fighter IV (iPhone4)
Ever since they brought back Dee-Jay I'm HOOKED!

i have just started need for speed run

but it looks like just strait race to the end but its ok

i tried mw3 on 360 but not used to these type of games so died quickly

still try to finish Mass Effect 2, before the 3 will be released ... oO

I'm really playing L.A. Noire on PS3 (very close to unlock all trophies), but after that I will stick with an Amiga game this time.

Currently ...

Mw3 Xbox online
Fallout Vegas - lonesome road
Bio shock 2 Xbox
PP and his magic hammer amiga
Parsec ti99

A big update for Terraria just dropped so I'm getting stuck into that.
It's a cool little game, retro style graphics with parallax scrolling... reminds me a bit of Super Metroid except that you can dig through walls and build your own equipment and buildings and stuff :)

I played Skyrim for about 15 hours and couldn't be bothered picking it up again... so overhyped. I loved Morrowind, was really disappointed with a lot of the dumbing down and streamlining in Oblivion, while Skyrim is definitely an improvement on Oblivion it just feels like its lost the magic that Morrowind had.

Got some holidays coming up over christmas and I recently found a boxed copy of Ultima 7 at an op shop, on 5 1/4" disks... if I get the time these holidays I'm planning to set that up on my 386DX40 rig and have a bash through that :)

I love threads like this.

At the moment I am playing World of Warcraft (like I have been for the last 7 years lol), Skyrim and various C64 text adventure games.

:D

Karateka on a Atari 1040STE it's not to bad have not got to far yet..

:coffee:

Boulder Dash on Atari 130XE, I really can't get enough of this game. So far have not came across anything as good.

Farm simulator 2010 on PC, interesting concept. STill trying to figure out how to add machinery and scenery from Poland.

@thgill and DonutKing. Keep it clean please guys. I've removed your comments.

Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO Beta on the PC

Have been having great fun beta testing this game (official launch date is Dec 20th). Been playing a smuggler and have been really enjoying the main quest storyline, plus all the side quests. Game control is easy and second nature to anyone who's played an MMORPG before. NPC voice acting is also very good. Good SW atmosphere and level design. Also am impressed by how well the game runs at 2560x1440 resolution. ;)

forza 4 (don't understand why Fitz hasn't challenged me to a race online yet)

Superfrog to completion again

BF3

MW3

Dirt

thats about it at the moment:)

Fallout New Vegas and Empire Total War Napoleon on the fastest one of my PCs
