I just tried sonic cd for the first time through the emulator on the original Xbox and that's one funky experience lol. Every movement seemed to find some sort of tunnel or spring. I was bouncing and rolling like a nutter lol

I let the machine running overnight and finished it today (a little reward for all the work what i have done so far on the computer). Not so bad for the first time with this hardware setup after 20 years or? Love this game

Funnily enough, now that Skyrim's been released, I'm trying to give Oblivion a proper go. Had it for ages but never went particularly far. Used to love RPG games (played Alternate Reality and Dungeon Master constantly back in the day) but still wondering what all the fuss was with Oblivion.

Itching to get an Atari 8-bit up and running so I can play Dropzone again. Might do it over Christmas.:D

The bad thing about these modern games like 'Oblivion' etc, are actually hack 'n' slash games and not real RPGs.

Think you're right. I've been wondering what's been missing.

Incidentally, one of the games I've been playing on my Windows Phone is Dungeon Stalker. When I first loaded it up I couldn't help thinking 'Dungeon Master'. Similar in many aspects, but it has one flaw ... apart from getting too hard too quickly when you move up the levels, you can't use the same 'drop the door on the monster' strategy that you could in Dungeon Master. Otherwise it's a very good RPG.

And another game I've been playing for some time now (again on Windows Phone) is Tap Splosion. It's an almost perfect mobile phone game. I'm due an upgrade in Feb but will get an Android next - but only for development purposes. We don't have any Android devices in the house. But I'll probably get Tap Splosion for that as well.

Great game  Some say the best Sonic.

Play it to completion and youll see why ;)

played today some rounds Test Drive 2

Mighty fine taste!!!

With regards to LIVE, everytime I call up to say £40 is too much and I don't wanna auto renew... BADDAR BING! thta'll be £22 then sir, £1.83 per month is fine by me :p

Furthermore, never had my details hacked, never been cut off, suffered from interrupted play, lag and it means I can stay away from that god awful 17yo (if it's broke please FIX IT) design PlayStation controller.

 know I sound like a bitter childish (circa SNES vs. Megadrive) fanboi but PS3... zzzzzzzzz, Xbox 360 fills me with the same warm gooey loyal feeling I get with Amiga

I'm not bitter, very happy actually.... but i'm definately a FANBOI! (circa SNES/MD styleee) And proud!

What did I get from the PSN hack????

2 free PS3 games and 2 free PSP games! AWESOME! More Haxx please! :D

You pay your £22 "discount" and be happy... i'll continue being happy by paying this ..... £0 :D

Played a fair bit of Tiger Heli on PCE GT lastnight, that game is just awesome!

BTW Steve, I think Fantasy Zone on the PCE is the best home conversion. Love the SMS version, but the PCE... another level of awesome.

sssshhhhh, i've only just managed to get Phips back off to sleep, now you've gone and woken him!!

for the love of God will no-one mention any other console or method of play other than the PS3 please??

the rants are becoming a little tiresome now:(

Just finished Risen on peecee and wow what a game. Sunk about 60 odd hours into it messing about. Loved every bit of it. Was going to restart Skyrim but I think I will wait for a couple more patches to kick in. I guess I may start Limbo.

I'm currently enjoying a comeback of GT5, and I'm also clicking through the PowerPoint presentation that's called "LA Noire".

Decided to give Rage a whirl on the PS3 as it was being sold in Tesco for just £13 ... I was going to get it for PC, but apparently it's still infested with bugs and the X360 version slows down too much during heavy action scenes. PS3 version still looks good despite there being quite a bit of texture pop-in (or pop-up). Not as pretty looking as the other versions, but it manages to maintain a solid framerate with no visible screen tearing.

I actually enjoy this game very much although the reviews were pretty average... I love Borderlands and Fallout, so naturally i like this game too :D

I've rediscovered the joys of Caesar III on my Win 7 Laptop, and Starcraft. I never played it first time round and I love it. :D
I have downloaded a few demos for the 360 and have been quite impressed with Forza4, I may be making a purchase of that yet and then I will definitely be looking you up Justin.
I don't mind having my @rse handed to me, 'cause I'll get you in the end.
I also have Dead Island, but am yet to try that, but I am really enjoying Sonic Generations. Got to say it's the first Sonic in a long while that I enjoy playing.

Been playing Last Ninja Remix on Amiga and it was quite good apart from Doggy Control

Been playing DiRT 3 today on the PC. Great fun with a Xbox360 controller. And I was surprised how well it runs at a res of 2560x1440. Looks amazing. :)

Not long to SWTOR though, and then there won't be time for anything else. ;)

@ Harrison: I have been looking forward to SWOTOR but is this online only? Might have read this wrong on a review

@ All: Well I have just finished Dead Island and Supreme Commander 2 on the PeeCee so just got RAGE and SKYRIM left so I think I am sorted till just after christmas... Must start back on my Amiga projects so I can play some classics! Never enough time!
