yes i agree PCs will have higher res , better depth , faster fps but I'm not interested anymore i just want to play a quick game of this or that, without update for this , update for that , dx15 needs this patch blah blah , if i wanted the best i would not use the Amiga 25 years later :-)

plus i hate the mouse / keyboard set up now and no pc controllers ever work on two different games properly

but i agree the xbox / ps3 is old and very out dated now ... new hardware is needed badly.

Yeah for sure, will be amazing to see what new consoles can do graphics wise. Xbox was pretty ground breaking when it first came out, can not wait to see what they do next.
 
Yes I agree , 2012 should the year of new hardware but wether they will wring another 12 months out the current stuff I don't know

Well as before they wont be any better than the best pc can offer when they are released. So just look at what is the best on there and you will know.

Sim City update: 493.000 so close but cant get over the line! arggh!
 
I cannot stop playing Caesar III it is so addictive and engrossing and it plays perfectly on my Windows 7 laptop with no updates or fixes required. :D
 
I used to love Caesar , the first was on the Amiga . Brilliant game - not played it for years
 
I am playing FM 2011( Best Version yet), helping Everton to try get 4TH Place and also through to the League Cup Final :D

I got 3 World Class Players coming back from Injurys as that would improve second half of the season !!!

I am using 2 Tactic for Home and Away

Home - 4-4-2
Away -4-1-2-2-1

Our League Positions is looking very Good :) 4TH Place is Must because if we do get it then Watch the Big Moneys Come :D

I recently re-installed Crysis and I'm now on the last level. ...and bought Crysis 2 which I'm stuck on :lol: , a bit of fun that gets me away from everyday life for a while.
 
ahhh Crysis ... that made me sell my PC when it came out. ran like a 486 with vista installed lol.

Currently I'm playing nothing modern except for Battlefield3 , cod2 , cod3 (with friends)

Amiga side.

Too busy working on projects to play really.

PC.

Far cry on max setting on my (new to me) graphic card...

:-) nothing to see here really.
 
Currently anticipating more retro goodness once my everdrive arrives.

Started a game of FF13 about a month back, so getting a bit further now and then with that. Just repaired a SNES that I got from Taj... Not much happening gaming wise at the moment.
 
Playing Mario Kart 64 on the N64 - I am enjoying it - great fun. I have so few N64 games now - I really don't like the N64 to be totally honest and the controller isn't the greatest of Nintendo's work...
 
Civilization IV on PC. Still best strategy game IMHO.
Tried the original Civ on my 020 A2000 and it IS a bit slow :-)
 
Talking about strategy, I'm currently on Warhammer Dawn of War II on the PC, a great game of its genre.

just finshed biohazrd 2 (jap) aka resident evil 2 in uk and us and just started playing resident evil 1 on ps 1

and play mw3 most nights on xbox 360 :thumbsup:
 
I have playing Resident Evil 4 on GAMECUBE and I had face two Chainsaw man and it is hard as I had run round like headless chicken and if I get two chainsaw man together and shoot them then I may have chance :D:thumbsup:

Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube is much better than PS 2 Version ! :D
 
I completed rs4 on ps2 a few years ago. Always meant to do it again on gc. One day:) completing bioshock these days. What an incredible package that is!

Alien Breed is brilliant when Everythings go dark and it go red light flash and you got 60 Seconds find your EXIT !! :o:thumbsup:
