Been trying to play a bit of Infestion: Survivor Stories (previously known as as 'The WarZ') on the PC ... It's a terrible game and it's ridiculously hard to stay alive unless you hide and do nothing . I can't even use higher ground (vehicles, fences etc.) to escape zombies as they glitch their way after you! Trying to aim for their heads is a real pain too and they usually end up taking 10+ hits before they die! It truly sucks .

Played through Super Mario Land on my snes the other night using the Super Gameboy Steve gave me the other week... memories :)

Been playing lots of New Super Mario U on WiiU and almost completed Luigi's Mansion 2 on 3DS.

Best game that I'm playing at the minute though by far is Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS. Best game I've played for ages, I usually hate strategy rpg games, but this one is special. :)

I agree. Fire Emblem Awakening is really good.

Also been trying to get into Crysis 3, much like Crysis 2 though, I suck at it.

FPS & Stealth do not make for a good mix for my quake style abilities

I enjoyed C3 for a bit, while the graphics where impressive. Once the gameplay started to sink in, I really couldn't be bothered to finish it

Run and gun Q3 style is much more enjoyable

I started playing Rogue Squadron on the N64 last night. I got pretty far in it when it first came out in '99, but never finished it. It still stands up well (although the graphics aren't great on a large LCD screen) and it's pretty hard too. 3 missions done so far.

I never finished it either. Are you playing with an Expansion Pak?

@pp I tried infestation, killed some zombies (after nearly 2 hours looking for them), carried on down the road and 5 minutes later it said I was dead, been eaten by a zombie. There were none anywhere near me  promptly uninstalled that game.

I've just bought Sid Miers Pirates on Steam and been playing that for the last hour or so. Quite a fun little game really.

Scrappy very nicley borrowed me 'The Last of US' on the PS3 - currently my fiancee is being eaten by a guy with a half mushroom infested face. it's terrifying but also being a big fan of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, I can't help but think Hugh might be tempted to cut some of the mushroom growth of the dead guys face and fry it up for a taste test. lol.

still playing to ruff'n'tumble, banshee, battle squadron, mega typhoon and alien breed...

I've been playing a lot with my PC Engine. Lots of Ninja Ryuduken and Bloody Wolf and some After Burner II.

I just recently finished Need For Speed - The Run. It's been getting mixed reviews but I found it quite enjoyable. Maybe they could've taken more out of the whole coast to coast race concept. Maybe alternative route selections (longer/easy vs shorter/hard), more escape sequences and perhaps the possibility to lose positions in addition to gaining. Longer driving sequences would be nice also. Technically it should be possible.

About 1 month ago I finished Galactix in 45' (never could finish it when I was younger) and I played Crusader No Remorse (or Regret dunno) for quite a while but this damn World Of Warplanes keeps messing up my retro game plans :blased:.

Currently plying Two Worlds on the PC and i'm enjoying it so far despite the average reviews. The graphics are not that great for it's age (released 3 years ago) and the voice acting can sometimes be a bit cheesy, but i still like it and intend on finishing it so i can get on with Two Worlds II (supposed to be much better).
