I was just logged into my BT Infinity account and noticed my average monthly use for the service is 558GB. ;)

And I just wanted what everyone else's was these days?

I would guess mine is very low.

No torrents or downloading of films. Just bog standard browsing and FB

What do you guy's in the UK pay a month for broadband? I have heard here in New Zealand it's a lot more expensive than other parts of the world, For 100g I pay 70 NZD which is about £35 a month.

im currently paying £21.50 a month for a land line and 30mb cable from Virgin, they give me a so called £10 loyalty discount but in reality it's just the price they would charge a new customer for 6 months.

£10 Unlimited

ADSL LinkDownstreamUpstream
Connection Speed22011 kbps1390 kbps

but must have the Phone = £15.40.

Usage ? Unknown (not as many downloads, but lots more You Tube + iPlayer)

i've had to reduce my usage, i was doing about 400GB, but they are going to start enforcing bandwidth 'limits' (ie: charging us if we go over), and mine is 250GB/Mo, on a 25mb/s connection @ $60CAD/mo

recently upgraded from a 15mb/s (150GB limit) @$52/mo

don't really watch 'tv' so i pretty much stream most of the video i watch and d/l a few tv programs here and there that i want to see.

I download a few torrents & play online with the PS3/4.

I would say my monthly usage is probably around 100Gb tops. I did once get a letter from Virgin Media though telling me my usage was very high and unusual and to check to see if someone else is using my broadband. I had downloaded around 4-5Tb of data in the month. I replaced my PS3 hdd and downloaded 1Tb worth of games and then my 4Tb NAS died and was replaced under warranty with a 6TB from WD so i had to redownload all of my NAS stuff which was pretty full

I was paying £140 per month for TV, Phone & 152Mb Broadband with Virgin Media but found i wasn't really using the TV or phone so have now dropped down to just the 50Mb BB package and pay £24.50 per month

My BT Infinity is £26 a month I think, plus you have to have a BT phone line, which I pay the line rental yearly working out at just over £10 per month, plus I also have a £7 per month add on that gives me unlimited anytime calls at no extra cost..

So my FTTC 80Mb broadband plus line rental and unlimited monthly calls is roughly £43 per month.

And BT Infinity is a completely uncapped unlimited service.

It seems more internet providers are now moving back to more unlimited bandwidth based packages. Not like a few years ago where it was getting quite bad with adsl broadband and nearly every provider enforcing unrealistic monthly caps just as video streaming and game downloading services were off.

Probably around 800 megabytes tops a month... i think it's £5 a month along with Sky TV package (I don't watch TV though)
