Someone pinged me the link to this thread - lost an item from November coming from Czech Republic, but their own tracking number didn't work to begin with.
Other than that the problems I usually have are:
1) Things that vanish at the Italian overseas exchange
2) Canadian people posting things to the UK - they usually arrive and end up in an identically named road in the wrong town 10 miles from here. I assume this is some kind of stupid address lookup system because basically every single thing from Canada does this, and nothing from anywhere else.
Honestly this Christmas seemed to go better than usual, I did a lot more buying than I usually do, stuff from Germany, US, China, even a couple from the Ukraine and LOTS within the UK (at least 40-50), nothing delayed or lost other than the one that never tracked to begin with.
When posting elsewhere I use UPS and DPD via Parcel2go unless it's small enough for standard tracked airmail.
