When will retro gear stop being retro?

give it a few years and even the consoles of the third generation like the ps3 will be retro.

third? so playstation is the first console? Now that is something for Sony to boost about am i just dreaming of my other consoles?

well i wasent really talking about playstation,if you see what i mean.

i meant any console or system from that time frame.

as at the "moment" the ps3 xbox360 and wii arent old enough to be retro

but i would consider the playstation and nes etc to qualify

I prefer the term 'vintage' or 'classic' for our machines, as these link into the 'Golden' term used earlier.

Of course, as you know, you can fix "golden" with that retr0bright stuff - so pristine-white, but still retro will be the order of the day ;-)
