Ok, let me know. I could loan you a known good carrier + PMC800 to eliminate those variables at least!
Cheers. Will PM you soon 👍🏻

Just to add.. I have now started to use pci.library version 3.14 (Optimised for 68060, according to the Elbox blurb). Whilst version 3.15 has been optimised for the 68040, not sure if this works with the 060 as well? Was using version 3.15. When I get chance, will contact Elbox support to see what the differences actually are.

Mediator card has been setup as “Master = on”, “Winsize = on”, “Swap = off”. No Zorro cards being used.

Update time:

Have now borrowed and used @ctrlbreak ppc card and working carrier setup.
Still the same issue…. Thanks ctrlbrake.

Have also swapped the voodoo 3 3000 to a working Voodoo 3 2000. Still the same.

Gen swapped out the rev 2 (rev c) to a known recapped working rev b mainboard. Still the same.

I’m thinking the issue is with the voltages. Had an issue on startup where the ppc.library says it can’t find the PPC card. When you reboot it’s seen and RAM from the card is seen and being used.

When running the warp3d ppc-gears window, this will run for around a minute then a crash out again about gears.exe.

So how do I add more voltage to the PPC card or Mediator mkIV ?

Just revisiting this thread. Just to let people know I fixed this by NOT using a Mediator but instead a Prometheus Firebird Daughterboard.
I am just revisiting this original setup again only to find the M1 and the Mediator still not playing ball.
I think it’s down to the voltages on the Mediator. On the Prometheus it allows you to add more power via the Molex connector, which in the Firebird makes everything work stable.

Just thought I’d put this out to anyone else having issues.

Also noticed over on a Thread on EAB, that member @trixster has changed something called a “ 5A LM1084 “ regulator on his Mediator, which may have fixed a similar issue?
So may look at this mod for mine later on…..
