Have you modded it yet? Its absolutely awesome for Retroarch as it can run all 16bit/MAME stuff perfectly with nice shaders and scanlines that make the image look great plus its pretty easy to get it all up and running, has almost instant on, a nice case/controllers and relatively inexpensive as well.

There is also a fully featured port of Amiberry but I really dislike the UI as its a chore to navigate but beats the alternative of having to manually create config files for the RA core.

Who has one?

Yes I've got one. Picked it up for £15 from Argos! Everywhere was heavily discounting them to clear.

I've modded it, but mainly just to add a lot more PS1 games to the system. I tend to run emulators on my SNES Mini as it seems ironically to have a bit more power and can handle emulating even a Dreamcast well for some titles. Although neither can handle N64 very well.

Thats interesting, I haven't modded my SNES like that as I only added a handful of titles to keep it authentic but I would've thought the PSC with its beefier chipset was better for Dreamcast? Don't play any PS1 games on mine at all as they all look so crap! Yep I'm shallow.

I didn't even try DC out on the Sony because I thought it would still be underspecced and you'd need something like an Nvidia Shield as that has the power and the emus are optimized so it can handle all the way upto Gamecube perfectly. Would dig an officially licensed Dreamcast Mini:

With proper HDMI output and no moving parts because it costs around £400 to do all the mods on real hardware which is crazy. The chipset/tech is out there and could easily be put together for around £150 if they so wished. Really surprising how far emulation has came as the tech has shrank down over time. One can only imagine what the next gen will bring with its focus on BC across the board.

I have an original PlayStation scph 1002 hooked up to a Sony PVM14L5, looks awesome, but love the new classic consoles, just wished they had made them faithfull to the original hardware.

I got a PS classic when Amazon were clearing them out cheap, I was shocked how terrible it was, thankfully Autobleem and new retroarch make it the system it always could have been. I inherited the second one as part of a bundle of minis, the only decent one other than the PS mini was a C64 Mini, I mean to look into modding that soon.

The other two are an Arari and Sega Megadrive Flashback, unequally terrible to a stock PS mini and horribly made, right now I cant see them as anything more than shelf fillers or at best something you let the kids button bash on lol.

Got one a few months ago and modded it to the latest Autobleem 0.9 couple of days ago, just need to find a compatible wi-fi adaptor and a otg hub, which is not proving easy on Amazon UK, as all the links i find are for Amazon.com and same products not avail on uk page :(

Got a few games installed on a 64gb flash drive
110 PS1 (enable hi-res so they look better)
100 Snes
100 Megadrive
20 GB/GBC
40 Atari Lynx

plenty to keep me happy, its a great little machine.

One original advantage of the SNES mini over the PSC was the ability to use Wii Classic controllers, so you have analogue sticks for emulated systems.

But now with the 8BitDo Wireless USB Adapter you can use pretty much any controller with the PSC, including PS4 abd Xbox One controllers.
