I've completed the cases for both styles of Jim's awesome WiModem. They're available in whatever color you'd like (I have most colors right now).

There are two different styles of cases for each type of modem. You can have them plain, or with the Wifi icon raised on the top of the case.

Each case is assembled out of two pieces, four screws and heatsets. Two screws are encased inside. Using a 1.5mm hex key, you fasten the board to the lid using M2/4mm black oxide screws through the two existing holes at the top of the board. Then the back is attached and two M2/4mm screws go through the back holding the two halves together.

The price is $15.95 USD for your choice of color plus $14.95 USD worldwide shipping.

Jim... if you'd like one of each case (no charge) let me know. I'd like to ship them to you in a color of your choice for making such a very cool piece of hardware for the community.

Here are some more photos of recently printed (today) cases in some other colors...

Here is the assembly video I've been wanting to do for a while.

This is ideal for those using Shapeways printed cases as it instructs you how to put your heatsets into your case.

Subsequent to that part of the video is the assembly portion which will apply to everyone. Shows how to put your WiModem into the case. The same process applies to the non-OLED version of the modem and case.

What other photos would you like to see? There are a bunch at the top of this thread.

If you'd like some e-mailed directly to you, please pm me your e-mail address.
