Hi.

I would like to use a wireless USB Logitech mouse such as the M235.

Do you know of an adapter that allows this mouse (2,4 GHz dongle, no driver needed i think) on an amiga port?

This one maybe?

I expertimented with Wireless USB Mice when I was designing the USB AMX Mouse for the Amstrad CPC range. They don't communicate with standard USB or PS/2 mouse protocols at all at the USB port, so I doubt any of them would work with the current Amiga USB mouse devices, but the old PS/2 wireless mice from Logitech such as this type: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/imgs/e/ed/Originallogi.jpg work fine.

Funny that they work when connected to a standard pc USB port then, don't you think!?

If they work on windows without "special" drivers as suggested above, it should be possible to get USB mouse->amiga mouse port adapters to work with these mice (by the developers of said adapters)..

The work via usb as windows has drivers for 'human interface device' built in, and that's what it will report to windows when its plugged in. So technically they do use 'special' drivers, just they're already built into windows.

Yeah that's right, it uses the HID. I have this mouse on my A2000 because it is recognized by the Deneb. This mouse is nice because it saves room problem i have on my desk (4 computers, 3 mice and 1 trackball), but it would be better on the real amiga mouse port (to work with games and demo).

well, it should be possible to add mouse HID support to the firmware of the mcu's that usually power these adapters ;)

I have found my spare USB mouse adapter in a drawer (same as pictured above), and as a matter of fact, it does notwork with the USB dongle for the Logitech mouse.

Hi,
No this adapter won't work with any nano wirless mouses for the above cited reason. I have this kind of adapters and tried them and only the old big as a pendrive wireless mouse adapters that I have is working. I know that because I tested it :D
