I can imaging how fast 3D Games would be on X1000 !

How long when the price go down in affordable price?:unsure:

Apparently, RadeonHD drivers are 2D only at the moment, but 3D is coming very shortly (probably with AmigaOS 4.2?). So even if you want to play 3D games under X1000 you have to plug an old Radeon 9200 or 9250 gfx card to do the job.

About the price, probably you have heard that the new batch of CPUs were increased 100% of the initial price, but Trevor didn't want to increase the price of the X1000 for the second batch. For the price to go down, it's really something that I don't believe it will happen soon.

Had anyone have got it or try it?

What did you think of it?:unsure:

I used it very briefly when it made an appearance at Bletchley Park. I crashed it within about 10 seconds by attempting to load something whilst it was already trying to load the same thing from disk.

I had seen it in action earlier in the day. It was playing multiple (mpeg) video files and a few other things. It looked interesting, but it had a long way to go before it was ready for production.

@amigakit

purely out of interest, is it true the 1st batch of x1000's that sold out in a matter of hours was 70 units worldwide?

thanks in advance, Justin
