Closed X68000 PSU repair

The PSU on my beloved X68000 XIV has recently died, would anyone here be able to take a look at a possible fix? Whilst i was using it, the system powered itself off and then starting turning on and off repeatedly, there was also a nasty smell from it. I haven't powered it on since, and don't have the necessary electronics skills to diagnose and fix the issue.

I'm located in the UK and will pay for shipping both ways plus costs for time and materials. Thanks in advance.

TC replaced the caps in both of mine and is in Wales.

Out of interest, is it the compact model?

No it's not the Compact it's the full tower X68000 XIV.
