Hi there.

Here is a full setup available, composed of:

  • X68000 XVI with 2MB RAM onboard
  • 4MB RAM Expansion board (total system 6MB RAM)
  • AztecMonster SCSI to Compact Flash Adapter
  • Compact Flash Card 1GB bootable, with software installed and games
  • Keyboard X68000 fullsize
  • Midi interface
  • 2 x X68000 book - X-BASIC 2.0 and HumanOS 2.0
  • RGB to VGA adapter
  • Mouse (grey, sold as is for repair)

  • All capacitors in the Power supply replaced
  • Disk drives cleaned up and tested, reading and writing without any errors
  • CF Card adapter installed
  • 1 GB SD Card installed with file browser and tons of software - booting from the card
  • 4 MB Expansion board installed
  • Midi interface installed

Single item I can take off the sale is the mouse. Everything else must go together.
I know is a high value sale, but this is for someone looking for a full setup, ready to go - rather that getting the parts slowly over time.

Looks lovely.... not declaring interest (yet lol) but the link isn't working for me.

You should mention this setup is also for sale elsewhere (ebay).

Will fix the link to photos this evening
The last paragraph "item announced everywhere" was suppposed to mean "setup for sale everywhere".

Edditing original post in 3...2...1...

Computer was bought on ebay, waiting payment.
So probably not worth fixing the link to pictures.

I will update this thread when I have the transaction finished, either successfully or not... so item not considered sold yet until I receive payment.

Will split the package if requested - sell only the items you want.

Members of AmiBay will not be able to express interest in parts unless you supply a price for each item.

Instead of selling the whole package, I also offer to split and sell this setup instead:

  • X68000 XVI with 2MB RAM onboard + internal SCSI Hard disk + Keyboard: £650
  • Keyboard only: £120
  • Midi only: £140

Interested if still for sale:

Thinking it over, do any of the games require more than 2mb of ram? What are the options for joypads you can use?

Some games requiere 4mb or more, like Super Street Fighter II. I think some other Capcom games.

Yes, some games require 4MB and one tor two even require 8MB though I did not know which one and or course did not install int in the disk - The SCSI is 81MB only.
Yo can use MSX compatible controllers or pads.
Atari controllers works as well but only for one-button games.
