Being a Pertol head & having owned a rather tasty & heavily modified MkV Cortina 2.3 Ghia, I have to concur. They were the smoothest revving V6 Ford ever made & sounded gorgeous. Though the Vulcan V6 had Torque that nearly ripped the steering wheel out of your hands & in a 3 Litre Capri S, it was like trying to steer a tea trolly on the bends.
