yes another evilbay rant

I bought on the 2nd of this month a nice little package that was on auction on ebay.

It had a ZX Spectrum +2 Grey and a ZX Spectrum +3 with a few games.

I had it for a good price too so i was very happy.

I had no email off the person until i asked about it on the 7th and he sent me a message on the 8th saying he did send it but it came back to him as he wrote the address wrong.

Ok I thought fair enough I have done that myself a few times.

I am still waiting for the stuff i bought and i have 3 more days until i can dispute it.

I really want my items i bought badly and i have had no other communication with the seller. I emailed him 2 days back and got nothing. I have now emailed him again still being nice by the way trying to find out whats going on.

I have everything here waiting for the Spectums but no Spectrum and i am getting major p**sed.

Why cant some people just send the freaking items for gods sake and stop being mindless dim wits that just want to waste peoples time and some times even money.

If i do win the dispute i have to look for a +3 for around the same price and i cant see it happening sadly

I would just like to point out that the site you mention does have it's own Complaints Department; unfortunately, this isn't it.....

It's a pity they don't have a Rant area on their site; Amibay would be so much quieter....

I fear if they did have that section on ebay the whole site would crash.

I guess I am just lucky as I have never had any serious issues with Ebay, although most of my Ebaying was done in the early days (1990's) before the masses discovered it.

I hope you actually receive the Spectrums in the expected condition & are not forced to go through the trouble of a dispute.

looking at how long this guy ships stuff most of the items he has sold is around 2 weeks ... not that's taking the mickey.

Well well well I had an email from that person just now.

Basicly he said he is working away but his wife should have reposted it so I have to text him tonight to find out.

more news on the speccy front (my god this is like a running saga of Dallas or something)

Had a message of the guy saying his wife didnt send it while he was working away and he was going to do it today and send me half of the postage. I said to him dont bother use the money to send it as quick as poss cuz i want the spectrums asap.

Fingers crossed I should have the speccys by Monday with any luck if not i am going to freak.

ok he said to me onf riday he was going to post the item on that same day. Asked him 3 times now after that did he manage to post it and no answer. Giving it till midweek and then the dispute will happen.

i dont get it anything remotley large i go to parcels2go and citylink come collect it the next day and it arrives at the destination the day after that (barring week ends and holidays)

i simply dont understand why people use royal snail for anything larger than a small package. (£4.00 postage or lower then il probably use royal snail)
