Hi all As per title....

Im trying to buy some 20pin zip ram for my Retina Graphics card....TBH I`M not sure where to look ot if what I`m looking at are the right ones.....some info below...

RAM
The board can have 1M, 2M or 4M of RAM. With 1MB no 24-bit modes are available; with 2MB onboard you still can't reach resolutions of 1990x1426 or 1024x768-24Bit; these resolutions require an upgrade to 4MB.
For 1MB or 2MB RAM configurations, 414256 chips are used (1Mbit-ZIP-RAM). For upgrading the card to its maximum size of 4MB, 4Mbit-ZIP-RAMs like 414400's must be used in sockets 1,3,5, and 7.
RAM speeds of 80 ns will work, although the manual recommends the use of 70 ns, as not all 80 ns RAMs seem to be fast enough.

Any links to ebay etc would be great.....as i have bought some Ram chips but there 80ns and give me Graphics Corruption...(same chips as the A3000 fast ram)

TIA

Mark

Last week I bought 20 pieces on ebay,
Just go to ebay.com and type in the type of zipram you need. for example 414400 20pin zip (but they are not cheap).
You must be lucky to find a cheap seller (also look at the shipping cost!!)

But maybe there is someone here who can sell you some for a normal price.

Awesome....thank you.....I wonder if theres a way to use other Ram chips or adapter like you can get for the A3000 fast ram....Anyway Thanks again everyone
