Had Anyone received ZX Spectrum Next?


I have received mine today but haven't open it yet.


What do you think of it?

I think it looks amazing - really regret not getting in on the Kickstarter, even if it has been a long road.

Hopefully they continue to support it and it gets a fair amount of its own software rather than just becoming a ‘Super Speccy’ and only mainly being used for classic spectrum software.

Looking forward to any particular games?

Looking forward to any particular games? Chase HQ as it would be much faster as I have options to choose either 3.5Mhz or 7Mhz or 14Mhz or 28Mhz(that would be too fast!), Star wars would look good with speed improvement I dont know which game is must have to play for zx speccy as I grow up to own Atari 65xe then C64 then Amiga.

It seem ZX Speccy next got better basic too, somethings like

10 LOAD "mysprite.spr" BANK 2,0,256
20 SPRITE BANK 2
30 SPRITE CLEAR: SPRITE PRINT 1
40 SPRITE 0,80,80,0,1


There will be Kickstarter Part 2 but dunno know when going to start

I myself stupidly decided not to join the Kickstarter campaign (and am still kicking myself), but hope that, once they've shipped out all their units, they'll have another campaign. I've been following along seeking updates, but so far...nothing.
