I feel a little silly posting this, but thought it worth sharing. The current "short cable" supplied my MNT is 4" long, which allows some flexibility in offsetting the mount by one Zorro slot if necessary. I think most users probably utilize the Zorro slot in-line with the video slot. The provided cable bows upward enough because of the extra length to interfere with an adjacent full length Zorro card if installed. I did a quick measurement and fabricated my own 2.5" cable, which is the exact length to fit straight across with no excess.
