    Iomega ZIP 100 USB drive - translucent blue/turquoise

    As above - tested good - recognised straightaway by Windows 7 and MacOS 10.7. I think this actually conforms to generic USB removable mass storage specs. Was designed (AFAIK) to be a colour match to the original 1999 (or thereabouts) G3 iMac. Included :- The drive 5V PSU * 3 used ZIP 100...

    What a treat, 30 year old NIB Amiga 500's!

    Nice video. I really like/appreciate your thoroughness/patience with that fire-up. Yeah those square 5-pin PSU connectors are a bit of PITA .... hard to get now - but I did hear there's some nutty guy in the USA somewhere who's having new ones made !! :-;

    Windows 10? Constantly Windows Updated so oftens!

    Yeah - I find those theatrical "keynote" things they have stomach-churning. No doubt the apple fan-boys and fan-girls would be gasping in amazement and shrieking if Apple announced the I-snotball.

    Windows 10? Constantly Windows Updated so oftens!

    Well - here's my 2p ... Some time about 8-9 years ago some M$ suits and marketroids noticed that lots of people were using smartphones for lots of internet/web stuff. So they've gone "Oh **** - we need to make the next windows look like a cellphone" - hence windows 8 .... eck. That was truly a...

    Name of this lead/connector please

    I have some 4-pin JST-XH connectors (with about 5" of cables pre-attached - bare ends). The locking lugs look exactly the same as your pic .... but let me know the size of your connector. Mine are white coloured connectors with black, red, white and yellow wires. They're commonly used as...

    ISA Slot Hard Drive Mount for Amiga 2000

    Not expressing interest, but ... Would it not make good sense to include a couple of "fingers" to draw +12V, +5V, and GND power from the ISA bus, mebbe terminate in a flying 4-pin molex socket ? Should make internal cabling tidier - and make removing/fitting of cards in between it and PSU...

    Closed loan of/access to a machine that uses 72-pin SIMMs in London area

    Howdy doody. Got a sizeable bag of 72-pin memory (mostly EDO, 4MB up to 32MB) that needs testing. Just wondering if anyone would be able/willing to lend me a machine to do that ? Don't wanna pay shipping 2 ways, so if anyone has such a thing reachable by London transport that would be very...

    Power output of A500 Power Supply

    ... and just a FYI - I understand some of the later ones are SMPSU design (switch-mode) - the light weight ones. These should be a good deal more efficient - i.e. the power input would be much closer to the power output. So a PSU rated at 35W output would have power input more like 40W. Less...

    Sold Electronic Design Y-C genlock (aka Hama S-590) for all Amigas (PAL only)

    Yes - still available. I will need to check on shipping to Italy ... There is no software with it (dosn't need any) ... but as above the manual is available in English and German (I can email as pdf). It should work with any Amiga - as long as the screen-mode supports genlock of course.
