hello all,

im interested in seeing people benchmark scores from their Amiga

either sysinfo or other , MIPS or whatever

I think it would be an advantage for people to know wether the their machine would run better with fast ram or an accelerator or a plain cpu card.

or wether a MMU or FPU would help them?

what do you all think?

anyway i have kept a log of sysinfo stuff on A500's , A1200's and my A4000

:D

not sure how im going to log this but here goes..

Dude, your scores are wrong for 060 if you use Sysinfo.

For instance, Sysinfo 3.23 gives 38.73 MIPS for my Blizz 1260@50, whereas Sysspeed gives 65.47 MIPS. Sysinfo is using only one unit inside the 060.

Results from Sysinfo are not comparable to Sysspeed for 030 either: my Apollo630@40 is 12,2 MIPS on Syspeed and 8,07 on Sysinfo.

I suggest you stick to Sysspeed.

@FitzSteve

Just to check that is the Apollo 630 and not ACA 630, if not where's the ACA 630 :)

I added my 060's and PPC with sysspeed as Xanxi says sysinfo only uses one integer unit on the 060 and thus false speed.

Yeah that was my old Apollo 630, I'll get the ACA on there in a moment

Updated my other post with the ACA630 benchmark.

These will be interesting to see as it depends on what options you have in ACATune, also some guys have the 30mhz or have overclocked theirs.

Actually I was worried for mine at first as it booted up in 68000k

But then I rememberd I had applied the disable jumper as I was playing with 1.3rom and HxC floppy emulator :D

68060 @ 72Mhz

Will retest under SysSpeed as SysInfo can't count properly after 040's lol
